I think I've seen this question answered on the Olympia business thread, but for things like The Blessed Waters, which have no employment thread, would one be able to handwave a low level clerk position for someone? Like if we wanted our characters to work at a check point, or as a guide, or something like that?

Yes, that's correct! The jobs listed with a sign up header are considered ICly to be more "qualified," hence us keeping a list of who works where. The businesses near the Blessed Waters that are simple shops are easier to gain employment in, so handwaving a low-level position without signing up for it is fine.

Just to be sure - has rebuilding progressed to the point the most recent groups of newcomers would be able to seek employment? Specifically, I was looking at the Fields of the Exalted as a possibility for Ren.
