PUT THE DESIRED NPC NAME IN THE SUBJECT LINE AND SPECIFY THE TYPE OF INTERACTION (AUDIO/VIDEO/TEXT/ACTION)
DARMA.
An enigmatic, omnipotent being who leads the Intervention. While Natha Orbiters have no real physical form, Darma takes on the form of a female in order to appear less daunting to the new arrivals. She is the first voice you hear in your pods as you are briefed about what has happened to your world and what will be expected of you, moving forward. She is a skilled negotiator and is prepared to convince you to that living in El Nysa is the best option for those affected by The Storm. She will be providing diplomatic relation missions when she sees it fit.
SAEL.
Serves as lead commander on the space protection front. As the captain, Sael is constantly vigilant to threats from other planets attempting to takeover El Nysa, and will make announcements whenever there's an attack so recruits can help fight. He will direct and train anyone interested in learning how to pilot a fighter jet or mobile suit, and is interested in those who already have such training, as well as technologically-savvy recruits. He will eagerly welcome anyone willing to learn such skills, as well.
ROMAN.
Not your average butler, to say the least. Roman is, like his brethren, an omnipotent being who has taken a human form to assist everyone. Roman has taken it upon himself to try and keep everyone happy and comfortable, at least in providing comforts. Roman busies himself by taking care of all housekeeping, cooking, and general upkeep of Thesa's facilities. He is happy to chat and answer questions, to a point.
ZASERE.
As a historian and a specialist in the more intricate detailing of various life forms, Zasere oversees the beings in stasis. He keeps track of their progress in sleep, and naturally, he has shifted this interest towards their newest guests. Being reclusive for the vast majority of his life, he’s a bit... unaccustomed to socialization. Still, he takes his job watching others and documenting their lives very seriously. Hence, he can often be seen everywhere. Perhaps he's that mouse in the doorway, or that cat down the hall.
[ honestly, he doesn't know who it's best to go to for this. so without having a better idea, he opts for going straight to the top - and then spends a few minutes wondering how you're supposed to address the godly being that's rescued you from certain oblivion and carried you across universes to start a new life on a new planet.
eventually, the answer appears to simply be "just get on with it". ]
Darma? John Watson. Sorry to disturb, but I've got a few concerns regarding certain sentiments among the refugee population that I'd like to discuss with you when you've got the time.
Thank you. I wouldn't be quite as concerned if this were just chatter, but by accounts you or others have already had to intercede on occasion— with attempts on the lives of people in stasis.
[ he'll carry on, there's plenty to discuss, but first pausing to get a sense of the legitimacy of that information ]
[ She felt it when it had happened. Had sent those who'd attempted away. But anyway, let it be known that, as the ones who had given the refugees the network to use these devices, it's natural that she and the others are watching the conversations that occur there, as well. She is aware of the chatter John is referring to. ]
There's a small number of very loud refugees who seem very ready to kill the people they weren't able to kill on board as soon as they get planetside. By the sounds of things, a lot of them are convinced they have valid reasons to do it. So if these people do wake up, and in the event it's not all hot air, we're faced with the potential of either planned assassinations or the newly awakened refugees being as dangerous as they're said to be and doing harm to us or to the natives.
It's not looking like a good situation.
We accidentally deleted this notification... Apologies!
[ Darma expected this conversation may have taken this turn. ]
Hear me out, John.
To premise, I am not insensitive to your concern. We saved species from all Worlds indiscriminately, regardless of their history. It is our belief that you all deserve a second chance at life, to not succumb to the Storm— a phenomenon that is is entirely out of the Universes' control.
Thus, when a Refugee wakes and lands on El Nysa, you must understand that this is their revival. How they survive thereon is entirely up to their wit and their ability.
It is out of our hands what other Refugees wish to do with others who wake. That is... the nature of life, you see.
[ there's quiet from John for a moment after she's finished. Thinking it through, riddling it out. ]
... So it's up to us. Whether or not we kill each other. [ spoken with, perhaps surprisingly, no anger. not even frustration - just a steady check for the final clarification of saying it for himself out loud. it makes its own kind of sense, and it's a practical answer he can work with: we as refugees are free to do as we will.
John is, at his core, a practical man. ] Alright. That's all I needed to know. Thank you.

[maybe he should've gone more deferential for an actual literal god, but oh well, too late now, he guesses. moving on.]
if you're not too busy doing...orbiter stuff, i wanted to ask about something this whole olympia vs wyver deal was there anything you guys want us to do about it like, specifically i mean i figure if you guys were rooting for one side or whatever you would've told us about it already but what do i know, i'm just some dumb human
[Honestly, he's not particularly interested in the conflict. But he owes his life to the orbiters, and given how he's already gotten harassed in Olympia just for wearing a stupid pin at that holiday ball...it seems like he might get dragged into it to some extent whether he likes it or not. So it's probably as good a time as any to find out what might be expected of him before shit really hits the fan.]
Shuusei Kagari, it is a pleasure to hear from you. I trust you have adapted well on El Nysa.
We are on the side of humans. Unfortunately, our perception of the conflict below does not extend beyond that. What the inhabitants, including yourselves, do with your trust, with your time, and with your spirit, is entirely up to you.
Or you can do nothing. We fear we have intervened too much as it is... perhaps watching by the sidelines is the best option after all.
[There's a long pause on Kagari's end; he almost can't believe it, what a godlike being such as Darma is offering him, when she could easily withhold it, make him do her bidding. With no complaints, honestly, considering how much more he has here already than he ever imagined.
But this...
It means more to him than he could ever express. He won't forget it.]
thank you
[Just saying so isn't enough. But it's all he has to offer. That, and an assurance:]
if there ever is something you guys want done, i'm on it
[In the aftermath of the recent attacks, Prior's come seeking explanation for why no aid was given, when it seems so easy to give. He doesn't look well, and that's not just his choice of clothing.
There's no specific person he's looking for, anyone with some answers will do.]
[B ecause someone spilled what's on his mind all over the network, but that's not the point. Prior doesn't look wary of Sael - and, in person, Sael doesn't look like too much to be wary of - despite all the warnings of retribution, that they're powerful beings ready to swat him like a fly for buzzing the wrong note. It's not how Prior expects this will go, even if it doesn't go well.
Whatever existence is on Nysa, it's not a chain gang. There would be no point appealing to ruthless overlords, he's here because he thinks understanding could be reached. So despite the initial snap to his tone, Prior just shakes his head and leans heavier on the cane in his hand.]
I can stand. I'd rather. I can't make myself sit still lately. After the last couple of weeks it doesn't feel safe to stay in one place too long. But, again. [He pauses, less for effect than to take a steadying breath.] You'd know.
I don't know everything, despite appearances. I have an idea of what you'd like to talk about, but you guys take us by surprise pretty often.
[ However, this time, he's fairly certain the grievances will stem from the recent traumatic events on El Nysa. No one would blame Prior for being upset, to say the very least. ]
darma, voice.

[Kagari would love nothing more than to enjoy his newfound freedom without obligation. But...]
you guys gave us these whole new lives and everything
isn't there stuff you want us to do for you in exchange?
[That's the way his whole life has worked, before. It's hard for him to believe he could truly have everything he's ever wanted for free, now.]

We are here merely to observe.
But you...
This planet is your home now. If you feel that there is something you want to do, then it is up to you to do it.
Act, or do not... but the choice to do so must be yours, not ours.

Enjoy your life on the world below.
