Thanks guys! So to start, after our intrepid crew has some time to digest, they'll reach a few conclusions together:
They'll still be guarding Florens. But as far as anti-Olympia (or at least Temple) threats go, his haphazard joyride to enlighten Wyver is up there. Group consensus: guy seems pretty Dumb. Except JJ, JJ thinks he's fine.
That said, they still haven't cracked Emeraude's agenda, whether it's assassination or otherwise. Something is keeping her around.
Yves is a bit of a wildcard; he seems honest, or at least straightforward, but you never know.
They'll keep at their divide and conquer strategy, spending most of their free-ish time around the same people. JJ and Boxer will do nothing to discourage more casual drinking in the evenings as they wind down from the trail, with JJ keeping conversation going. Long-suffering Boxer is not unpleasant company himself, but more often opts to watch and listen carefully (and again, make sure nothing goes off the rails).
So our question is a bit of gossip: how did they come to meet and hire Emeraude? Basically, we'd like more insight on how she came into this caravan, or if they hadn't perhaps met her before this journey, etc. She seems an odd choice to bring around when she's rather openly disdainful, even if she does her work without complaint.
And to cover the other half of the party: Red and Yusuke, neither of which take to Florens much and are a little less patient than Boxer, spend more time with Emeraude. Red has her suspicions about her, but still prefers her company, helping with her tasks and standing up for her should the men of the crew get insufferable. (And offering a drink if that's up her alley, since there's no reason the dudes should get all the liquor.) Yusuke is quite personal because he can't tell if it makes her uncomfortable anyway, and makes it no secret that he thinks Florens' plan is reckless and lacks a deft hand.
